 MEKONG DELTA 1 DAY –VINH LONG- CAIBE FLOATING MARKET
 

Highlights : Rice fileds, floating markets, daily life of the Mekong Delta people.

     Departure from Saigon River: 7:30 AM    Finish: 6:00 PM

     Cai Be is 136km from HCMC. Depart early in the morning stopping to take photos in Tan An town overlooking picturesque flat rice fields.

      You’ve likely never seen anything like the intricate chaos which is the Cai Be Floating Market, where locals buy,sell and exchange goods on the river without ever leaving their boats! After lunch we’ll spend some time relaxing with local family, where we’ll enjoy listening to southern traditional music and drinking honey tea & honey wine and also visiting the families Bee Farm.

      After trekking through the fruit plantation ( and stuffing you face with every kind of fruit you can imagine!) you may enjoy rowing  a small boats up the narrow canals lined with elaborately intertwined  mangroves formations and many exotic varieties of tropical flora. From here you can either ride a bike into the handicraft villages to abserve their many quaint, though ingenious manufacturing methods, go for a stroll on foot or simply kick back in a hammock if you like. We shall eventually continue by bus back Sai Gon after one more brief short stop at the “BonSai Garden” in My Tho. tour ends.
